Brigade 162 began a targeted operation in the center of the Gaza Strip tonight; combat aircraft and aircraft attacked dozens of terror infrastructures above and below ground.
The combat team of Brigade 401, Nahal, and additional units under the command of Brigade 162, began focused activities tonight to eliminate terrorists and destroy terror infrastructures in the center of the Gaza Strip.
Before the forces entered the area, combat aircraft and the Air Force’s aircraft, in collaboration with Brigade 215, attacked dozens of terror structures above and below ground in the center of the strip in several instances.
The joint operation for the infantry forces and the Air Force was carried out following precise intelligence regarding the presence of terror infrastructures and many terrorists in the area.
During the operation tonight, fighters from the Nahal Brigade identified an armed terrorist who emerged from a tunnel near the forces and entered a military building. A combat aircraft attacked the terrorist as he approached the forces. Additionally, soldiers from Brigade 401, utilizing observations, located several launchers in the field.
As part of the operation, Navy forces carried out several attacks towards the coastal area in the center of the strip to assist the soldiers operating in the area.
