An aircraft of the Air Force attacked a short while ago a functional stronghold of the terror organization PIJ, which operated within the compound of the Al-Aqsa hospital in the area of Dir al-Balah. In the stronghold were terrorists from the terror organization.
After a protracted battle procedure, the functional stronghold and the terrorists within it were attacked, with precision to minimize harm to those uninvolved in the hospital premises.
The Al-Aqsa Hospital was not damaged by the attack, and its ongoing operation was not affected.
The presence of the stronghold and the terrorists who operated in it within the hospital’s yard is further proof of the systematic use by terrorist organizations in Gaza of humanitarian and medical infrastructures as a cover for terrorist activities.
