Tonight: A divisional operation to thwart terrorism in Nur a-Shams in Menashe brigade; Israeli Air Force aircraft eliminated terrorists who threw bombs at forces.
IDF soldiers, Shin Bet and Border Police acted last night in a divisional operation to thwart terrorism in Nur a-Shams in Menashe brigade. During the operation, the soldiers arrested three wanted individuals and exposed charges under axes meant to harm the forces. As part of the operation, an Air Force aircraft attacked two terrorists who threw explosives at our forces and eliminated them.
Fighters of the Carob patrol unit exchanged fire with terrorists, eliminated two of them and found an M-4 type rifle on them. The soldiers arrested a wanted individual and confiscated two M-16 weapons in the village of Aqab in Binyamin. In El Hadar in the Etzion Brigade, another M-16 type rifle was found. Throughout the night, the forces arrested 18 wanted individuals throughout Judea and Samaria.
During the forces’ activity in the city of Ramallah in the Binyamin Brigade, a violent disorder broke out during which terrorists threw stones, flares and explosives at the soldiers who responded with measures to disperse demonstrations and fire towards them, several hits were identified.
So far, since the beginning of the war, about 3,600 wanted individuals have been arrested across the Judea and Samaria Division and in the Jordan Valley and the Valleys brigade, about 1,600 of them are affiliated with the Hamas terror organization.
