The combat team of the 7th Brigade and the Air Force forces closed a circle on a terrorist cell that was identified loading explosives onto a vehicle in the Khan Yunis area; IDF operations in the Gaza Strip continue.
Forces from the 98th Division continue to operate in the Khan Yunis area, over the past day, the fighters, along with Air Force forces, have surrounded terrorists and located warfare equipment. The combat team of the 7th Brigade and the Givati Brigade eliminated terrorists using tank fire and sniper fire, and also destroyed terrorist infrastructures in which Hamas operatives resided.
In another operation of the combat team of the 7th Brigade, forces identified a number of armed terrorists loading explosives onto a vehicle they owned, an aircraft attacked the terrorists and eliminated them. Subsequently, a number of terrorists were identified who tried to plant explosive devices in the area, an aircraft attacked and eliminated the terrorists before they could secure the area.
The combat team of the Nahal Brigade continue to operate in the center of the strip and eliminated about 10 terrorists over the past day. In one of the operations in the area, the forces identified a terrorist cell near them and fired shells at them. Mere minutes later, another terrorist was identified in the area who was also eliminated.
In another operation in the area the forces eliminated an armed cell during a face to face battle.
Following missile launches that were carried out yesterday on the surrounding settlements, the IDF attacked from the air and by artillery a number of terrorist infrastructures in the northern Gaza Strip.
