The IDF continues to operate in the Al-Ma’azi and Khan Yunis areas; over 150 targets were attacked, terrorists were killed in raids by combat forces, and warfare means were located.
The concentrated forces continue to operate in the Gaza Strip with assistance and coordination with the Air Force and navy soldiers. Over the past day, more than 150 terror targets have been attacked in the Strip.
In the Al-Ma’azi region in central Gaza Strip, forces from the Givati Brigade combat team directed an Air Force aircraft to attack many terrorists. The fighters exposed over 15 underground tunnels. During a raid on military buildings in the area, rocket launchers, missiles, unmanned aircraft, and explosives were found. In addition, the fighters destroyed a rocket manufacturing machine found in the area.
As part of the activity of Brigade 98 in the Khan Yunis area in the south of the Strip, the firepower of the Egoz unit directed an Air Force aircraft that attacked and killed over 10 terrorists swiftly and in coordination with the fighters on the ground. Over the past day of combat in the area, dozens of terrorists were killed by the brigade combat teams.
In additional activity in Khan Yunis, fighters from the Brigade 4 combat team identified a terrorist who had hidden an explosive device in the area, close to the force’s movement axis. The brigade’s firepower directed an aircraft from the Air Force that attacked and killed the terrorist.
