The IDF eliminated in Syria the person responsible for the rocket launchings by the Hamas terror organization from Syria to Israeli territory.
Today (Monday), the IDF eliminated Hassan Akasha in Beit Jinn, Syria, who was a central figure responsible for the rocket launchings by the Hamas terror organization from Syrian territory towards the border of Israel in recent weeks. Since the beginning of the war, Hassan had directed Hamas terrorist cells that conducted rocket fire from Syria towards Israeli territory.
We will not allow terror from Syrian territory and it is responsible for any action emanating from its territory. We will continue to act against any threat.
