IDF troops thwarted a drug smuggling attempt worth about 16,000,000 NIS at the Egypt border.
Yesterday (Tuesday), IDF lookouts identified several suspects who tried to smuggle drugs from Egyptian territory to Israeli territory in the Har Harif area within the Paran Division.
IDF troops from the Bardales battalion, who operated in the area, thwarted the smuggling attempt and seized over 400 kg of drugs valued at approximately 16,000,000 NIS.
The confiscated drugs were handed over to the Israeli Police for further processing.
