Joint message to the IDF spokesperson and Shin Bet spokesperson:

More than 500 terror activists from Hamas and the PLO were arrested by IDF forces and Shin Bet over the last month and taken for further investigation by Unit 504 in the Intelligence Corps and Shin Bet.

Since the ceasefire, IDF soldiers in collaboration with Shin Bet have arrested about 140 Hamas and PLO activists across the Gaza Strip. The activists were stopped during recent battles by IDF soldiers, some of whom surrendered voluntarily and were brought in with field investigators from Unit 504 of the Intelligence Corps and centers of Shin Bet for further investigation.

In total, IDF soldiers and Shin Bet have arrested over 350 activists from the Hamas terror organization in the last month. In addition, more than 120 activists from the PLO terror organization have been arrested. In total, over 500 activists from terrorist organizations across the Gaza Strip were arrested and taken for further investigation in Israeli territory.

Some of the terrorists were caught hiding in civilian buildings, schools, and shelters. Investigations yield intelligence that aids the security of the fighting forces and the location of terrorists and additional activists from terrorist organizations.
