The IDF intercepted a ground-to-air missile that was launched from Lebanese territory towards a remotely piloted IDF aircraft. The aircraft was not hit and continued its mission. The missile did not cross into Israeli territory and no alarms were activated according to policy.
In response to the launch, Air Force fighter jets recently attacked a terrorist infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
During the event, mortars were also fired.
