The military court accepted the request of the military prosecution and extended the detention of eight suspects until Sunday, August 4th. In its decision, the court determined that evidence was presented which establishes reasonable suspicion that the harm to the detainee occurred at the hands of the detainees.
It was also determined in the decision that there is a prohibition against harming the detainees unnecessarily, regardless of the severity of their crimes, as mandated by law and by the values of the IDF.
