Joint message from the IDF Spokesperson and the Shin Bet Spokesperson:
It has been cleared for publication that in the joint operation of the IDF and Shin Bet, the kidnapped soldier, Staff Sergeant (res.) Ravid Aryeh Katz, may his memory be a blessing, who fell during the battle in the brutal terrorist attack on October 7, was also rescued, and his body was taken to Gaza.
The rescue took place yesterday (Wednesday), and his body was recovered along with the kidnapped victim Mia Goren, who was murdered, and the kidnapped casualties Staff Sergeant (res.) Oren Goldin, Sergeant Tomer Ahimas, and Corporal Kirill Brodsky, may his memory be a blessing.
The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to act for the return of the hostages and their safe return home.
