“IDF Enhances Security at U.S. Dock in Gaza for Humanitarian Aid Amid Ongoing Military Operations”

IDF Spokesperson:

The IDF is reinforcing security at the American dock today in preparation for the entry of humanitarian aid in the coming days; troops from Brigade 162 continue to strike in the Rafah area.

Today (Saturday), the IDF began to bolster the security of the American dock in Gaza in order to start bringing in humanitarian aid in the coming days.

Troops from Brigade 162 are continuing intelligence-based operations against terrorist targets in the Rafah area.

Combatants from Combat Team 401 conducted a raid in the area of the Tal Sultan battalion, during which they destroyed a military compound used for training terrorists from the Hamas terrorist organization. The soldiers eliminated terrorists who posed a threat to their forces, located numerous weapons and several tunnels.

Fighting in eastern Deir al-Balah and eastern Al-Bureij, led by Brigade 98, continues. Over the past 24 hours, Air Force aircraft, in cooperation with brigade forces, have attacked dozens of terrorist infrastructures and terrorist cells, including a structure that served as a terrorist infrastructure with underground pathways disguised as a civilian building. As a result of the attack, secondary explosions were observed, indicating the presence of numerous weapons in the structure. Additionally, the forces attacked terrorists near an underground tunnel; as a result of the strikes, rockets that were ready for launch were fired and landed near the tunnel in the Gaza Strip. There are no casualties among our forces.

As part of the activities of Brigade 99 in the central Gaza Strip, Air Force fighter jets eliminated a terrorist cell that had fired mortars during the week at our forces in the area; there are no casualties among our forces.
