Air defense fighters and fighter jets of the Air Force recently intercepted two suspected aerial targets that crossed from Lebanese territory in the Hermon area.
As a result of the falling debris from the interception, a fire broke out in the area. Alerts were activated in accordance with policy.
During the incident, an additional interceptor was launched at the targets, which exploded in the air over the Safed area. As a result of the falling debris from the interceptor, a fire developed in the area. The details are under investigation.
