The activities of Divisions 99 and 162 continue in the center and south of the Gaza Strip: the forces are eliminating terrorists and destroying terrorist infrastructure throughout the territory.
Division 162 is continuing focused operations based on intelligence in the Rafah area. Combat teams from the Nahal and Givati brigades have identified weapons and destroyed several booby-trapped structures that posed a threat to the forces.
In the operation carried out by the combat soldiers of Brigade 401 in the Tal Sultan neighborhood, the forces encircled terrorists who posed a threat to them and engaged in close combat with the assistance of drones. In the area, a weapons storage facility that had been used for anti-tank fire against the forces was destroyed, with no casualties reported. Grenades, explosives, military equipment, and additional explosives were found.
Soldiers from Division 99 continue to operate in the central Gaza Strip. Over the past 24 hours, the forces eliminated armed terrorists during close-range battles. Additionally, several military structures in the area that were used for terrorist purposes and posed a threat to the fighters were destroyed.
