Divisions 162 and 99 continue to fight in the south and central Gaza Strip; armed terrorists were eliminated in close-quarters encounters and airstrikes.
Forces of Division 99 continue the fighting in central Gaza. The forces attacked and eliminated several armed terrorists and destroyed terrorist infrastructure in the area. In one attack, soldiers from the “Alexander” battalion identified several armed terrorists in the region, and Air Force fighter jets attacked and eliminated them. In another attack, an Air Force aircraft targeted a rocket launch site in the corridor from which strikes were aimed at the forces yesterday, with no casualties reported.
Forces of Division 162 continue to fight in Rafah. In the past 24 hours, the fighters have destroyed terrorist infrastructure in the area and eliminated several armed terrorists in close-quarters encounters. Soldiers from the Nahal Brigade eliminated several terrorists using sniper fire and directed aircraft that attacked and eliminated additional terrorists.
Fighter jets and aircraft of the Air Force attacked numerous terror targets in the Gaza Strip, including armed terrorists, weapons depots, and other military infrastructure. In one of the strikes, an Air Force aircraft completed a cycle and eliminated a terrorist cell that launched a surface-to-air missile at an attack helicopter operating in the skies of the Gaza Strip, posing no threat to the helicopter. Additionally, an airstrike destroyed a weapons depot used by the terrorists to carry out the fire.
In further strikes led by the Gaza Division and the Air Force, aircraft eliminated two terrorists from the Hamas terror organization operating in the northern Gaza Strip.
