IDF Spokesperson:
New Commander for the Operations Division
Brigadier General Israel Shomer has taken over as the head of the Operations Division, succeeding Brigadier General Shlomi Binder, who served in this position for the past two years.
The change of command ceremony took place today (Tuesday) at “Rabin” base (the Kirya), led by the head of the Operations Department, General Oded Basiuk, and attended by commanders, soldiers, families, and other guests.
