Joint statement from the IDF Spokesperson, Shin Bet Spokesperson, and Police Spokesperson:
In a joint operation by the Shin Bet, border police special forces, and the IDF conducted on June 5th, the forces arrested Amar Nasser Allah, a resident of the Tulkarem refugee camp, suspected of involvement in shooting attacks towards the settlement of Bat Hefer at the end of May 2024.
During his interrogation by the Shin Bet, Amar admitted that he is a member of a terrorist cell that carried out shooting attacks against adjacent communities and also implicated additional suspects belonging to the cell.
Security forces will continue to take action to bring to justice all those involved in terrorism against Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers.
