Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division to Local Authorities: “The citizens, the residents in the area, and their sense of security are our guiding light.”
The Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Yaki Dolev, met today (Thursday) with heads of local authorities and councils in Judea and Samaria.
During the meeting, the main points of the operational assessment were presented and an open dialogue with the local leaders took place.
The division commander highlighted the ongoing efforts within the division to thwart terrorism, including offensive operations against terrorist organizations, increased aerial strikes, protection of the seam line, and strengthening defensive measures in communities and the home front.
From the remarks of the Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Yaki Dolev: “The incident in Jenin is a complex and difficult event. My condolences to the family on behalf of the state and the nation. In the offensive efforts that I mentioned here, the most accurate thing to say is that there are no safe havens for terrorists in Judea and Samaria. We operate everywhere, at all hours. There is a continuity and pace of operations that I do not remember seeing in Judea and Samaria. There are very impressive achievements by the forces on the ground. I believe that in the end, the citizens, the residents, peace in the area, and so forth, security, their sense of security is our guiding light.”
