IDF Spokesperson:
Following the initial report, assailants opened fire from a passing vehicle toward a military force that was on a mission to protect the route near Nabi Elias in the Ephraim Brigade.
IDF forces have launched a manhunt for the assailants, reinforcing routes and surrounding villages in the area.
As a result of the shooting attack, two IDF soldiers operating in the area were lightly injured, and one additional soldier was moderately injured. The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital, and their families have been informed.
