Last night, IDF and Shin Bet troops operated against the Hamas terror organization throughout the Central Command
In the village of Rumana in the Menashe Brigade, forces demolished the house of the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack in Tel Aviv in which Staff Sergeant Chen Amir was murdered. Hanawi recruited a military squad and carried out several shooting attacks against IDF forces in recent months. In Hanawi’s vehicle, an M16 type weapon, magazines, ammunition, and military equipment were found. In the city of Hebron, a wanted man who had previously thrown stones at citizens in the settlement of Kiryat Arba was arrested.
In the village of Kfar Qalil in Samaria, the fighters located a blueprint for the production of weapons and weapon parts. In addition, undercover personnel from the Border Police Judea and Samaria (magav YO”SH), under the direction of Shin Bet, arrested a squad of terrorists in the casbah of Nablus, members of a military squad that had shot at security forces several times during various operations.
Since the beginning of the war, over 1,950 wanted persons have been arrested throughout Judea and Samaria Brigade and the Jordan Valley and the Valleys Brigade, about 1,100 of them are affiliated with the Hamas terror organization.
