Following the alert activated in the Valleys region, an IDF combat helicopter remotely shot down an IDF manned aircraft that was identified with a technical malfunction. The alert for rocket and missile fire was activated due to the shooting down.
The shooting down was carried out in a controlled manner and there is no fear of a security incident.
