21 wanted individuals were arrested last night across Judea and Samaria; in an operation in the refugee camp of Nur al-Shams in Menashe Brigade, explosives were revealed and wanted individuals were arrested. In Beit Ummar, charity association offices were closed, suspected of being used by the Hamas terror organization.
Throughout the night, IDF forces, General Security Services, and Border Police arrested 21 wanted individuals across Judea and Samaria, including four members of the Hamas terrorist organization.
In an operation by Menashe Brigade in Nur al-Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, forces arrested five wanted individuals and discovered explosives intentionally hidden under axes to harm forces. During the operation, terrorists shot and threw explosives at the forces who reacted by shooting. In the Araba village, explosives were thrown and shooting was carried out against the forces, who located an airsoft gun.
In Deir al-Hatab village in Judea, a Carlo type rifle was found and a factory for producing weapons was confiscated.
In Gush Etzion, IDF forces, guided by information from the GSS and IDF, closed the offices of the Islamic charity association in the village of Beit Ummar.
These offices are connected to the Hamas terror organization who use the organization’s money to support and fund their activities.
In the village of El Bireh, a print house that printed Hamas incitement materials was closed. Throughout the operation, explosives were thrown and shooting was carried out in the direction of our forces, who responded with crowd-dispersal means and shooting.
In Dheisheh refugee camp, wanted suspects threw blocks, paint bottles, and stones at the forces who reacted by shooting. Casualties were reported.
During arrest activities in the Casbah in Nablus, three wanted individuals were arrested, with suspects throwing explosives and stones at the forces. A terrorist was also identified, posing a threat to the forces, and was shot. A hit was identified.
The arrested individuals have been transferred for further security investigation. No injuries to our forces were reported.
Since the beginning of the war, approximately 2200 wanted individuals have been arrested across the entire Judea and Samaria Brigade, and the Jordan Valley brigades, about 1100 of which are affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization.
