The IDF and Shin Bet have eliminated the new commander of the Shuja’iyya Brigade of Hamas in an airstrike, after his promotion to the role of executioner during the war.

The IDF, under the guidance of the military intelligence “Aman” and the Shin Bet, eliminated in a fighter jet strike Ahmad Karike, who served as the new commander of the Shuja’iyya Brigade of the Hamas terror organization, after his promotion to the role of executioner during the war.

Ahmad Karike served as the deputy commander of the Shuja’iyya Brigade since 2019. In the past, he trained mortar operatives in the Gaza City Brigade. After the elimination of the Shuja’iyya Brigade commander during the war, Karike took over the role. Karike participated in promoting mortar trajectories and incursions into Israeli territory.
