The IDF, Shin Bet and Border Patrol began an operation last night to counter-terrorism in the refugee camp and the city of Jenin, in Menashe Division. A remotely piloted aircraft attacked a terrorist cell that threw explosives and endangered our forces. So far, weapons, ammunition, and a bomb factory have been located and destroyed.
The IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Patrol from the Menashe Division begun the operation tonight to counter terror in the area of the refugee camp and the Jenin city. Engineering equipment was used to expose explosives buried under the roads which were meant to harm our forces. The forces found several weapons, ammunition, and explosives. In addition, they located and destroyed a bomb lab prepared for use. They also located underground tunnels and observation posts.
This morning, unit 636’s drones identified a terrorist cell that threw explosives and fired at our forces. An aircraft of the Air Force attacked the cell and killed several terrorists.
Our soldiers have so far detained dozens of suspects and continue their activity.
Additionally, our forces arrested three more wanted individuals during the night throughout Judea and Samaria. During the forces’ activity in the village of Kalil in the Samaria Division, the soldiers found hunting weapons, a drone, and ammunition.
In a counter-terrorism operation in Silwad in Benjamin Division and Deheisha refugee camp in Eztion, many suspects were interrogated and Hamas terror organization flags and warehouses were confiscated. In the village of Halhul, dozens of illegal vehicles were confiscated.
In a public counter-terrorism operation in the village of Nahalin, the forces searched many buildings, interrogated and detained dozens of suspects, and confiscated illegal vehicles.
