Following information on Hamas terrorists hiding inside schools, fighters from the 401 infantry brigade combat team and Naval Commando Squadron 13, under the 162nd Division command, stormed the schools of “Al-Ma’tzam Allah” and “Al-Farabi” yesterday (Friday). The schools were used as hideouts by Hamas terrorists in the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza city.
The forces eliminated terrorists during battles in the area. Additionally, terrorists hiding inside schools surrendered and were arrested by the forces.
Yesterday, the 4th brigade combat team raided a series of operational apartments in Khan Yunis region. The soldiers found many weapons and underground infrastructure used by the terrorists in the apartments.
The reserve fighters from the 551 infantry brigade combat team spotted a movement of several Hamas terrorists on the roof of a building from where they were firing at the forces in Jabalia area. The forces directed an Air force aircraft, which attacked and destroyed the building.
