Additionally, during the battle in which Staff sergeant Lidar Yosef Kroani was killed, a soldier (Res.) from the 551st Brigade was seriously injured during a battle in the northern strip of Gaza.
The soldier was rushed to receive medical treatment in hospital, his family has been updated.
