Raids, collisions, terrorists hijacking vehicles and being eliminated around Khan Younis; IDF forces have eliminated dozens of terrorists across the strip in the last day
In Khan Younis, soldiers working in the area eliminated about 40 terrorists in the last day. Intentionally, fighters from the Eguz unit raided a terrorist’s house and found in it ten grenades, a Kalashnikov rifle, military equipment, and technological means. Additionally, warehouses, grenades, Kalashnikov rifles, and maps were found by the forces in Khan Younis.
Combat soldiers from the 7th Brigade eliminated four terrorists approaching them by firing a tank.
In the north of the strip, the combat team of the 5th Brigade eliminated two armed terrorists who were ambushing our forces, using an armored force. In addition, numerous airstrikes were carried out using an aircraft that attacked and eliminated armed terrorists who posed a threat to the forces, some operated near a school in Gaza.
In the Tzebra neighborhood, combat soldiers from the 179th Brigade found anti-tank charges, RPG tools, military equipment, and technological means.
In operations in the north of the strip, the fire complex of the Yiftach Brigade identified terrorists hijacking a car and entering a known structure used by the PIJ. A short time later, one of the terrorists left the structure and was attacked and eliminated by an Air Force aircraft. Later, shots were fired towards the vehicle, and the push created by the explosion indicates that the vehicle was trapped.
