Following the alerts in the north of the country earlier today, about 20 launches were identified crossing from Lebanon into the northern part of the country, some were successfully intercepted by the air defense fighters and the rest fell according to policy.
In addition, a surface-to-air missile was identified crossing from Lebanon toward the Merom area. A hit was identified in the airspace control unit of the Air Force. There was no damage to the facility’s equipment.
The IDF is currently targeting terrorist targets of the Hezbollah terror organization in Lebanon.
