The Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Hertzi Halevi, has completed a comprehensive assessment of the IDF’s readiness for all scenarios, along with the Deputy Chief of Staff, Lieutenants Generals, Chief of Home Front Command, Chief of Ground Forces and other commanders.
The heads of the divisions and branches overviewed the preparations and readiness, both defensively and offensively, considering potential scenarios and adjusting the operational response.
The Chief of Staff concluded: “The IDF is highly prepared, very strong, both offensively and defensively against every threat. We are in a state of war and have been in high readiness for about six months. The IDF continues to closely monitor activities in Iran and in various regions, while constantly preparing to confront existing and potential threats, in coordination with the United States army. Our forces are ready and prepared at all times and for every scenario.”
At present, an assessment is taking place together with the commander of the U.S. Central Command, General Michael Eric Kurilla.
