IDF soldiers, the Shin Bet and Border Police concluded an operation to thwart terror in Tulkarm of the Menashe brigade; the forces have eliminated bomb labs, eliminated an armed terrorist and confiscated many weapons.
Haruv reconnaissance unit, together with Dovev unit, Shin Bet, and Border Police completed an operation lasting over 20 hours in the Tulkarm region of the Menashe brigade. During the operation, the forces destroyed three bomb laboratories and engineering forces exposed a number of charges that were buried under roads.
During exchanges of fire, the forces eliminated an armed terrorist and arrested six additional wanted individuals. In addition, the forces located and confiscated dozens of weapons and military equipment and searched over 60 buildings in the area.
During operations in the Dura area, which is part of the Judea brigade, the fighters arrested a wanted individual who aided the terrorist who carried out the attack in Gan Yavne.
In the Hawara area, which is part of the Samaria brigade, the forces arrested a wanted individual and located and confiscated tens of thousands of shekels of terror funds.
In the Al Bireh area, which is part of the Binyamin brigade, means of producing propaganda materials for terror organizations were confiscated.
The arrested wanted individuals have been transferred for further investigation by security forces, there were no casualties amongst our forces.
Since the beginning of the war, approximately 4,000 wanted individuals have been arrested across the Judea and Samaria and Jordan Valley brigades, about 1,700 of them are affiliated with the Hamas terror organization.
