The fighting in Jabalia, east of Rafah and in the center of the Strip continues; more than 70 targets were attacked in the last day.
The combat teams of Givati, 401, and Commando brigades continue to operate in east Rafah under the 162nd division command. In one of the encounters in the area, forces of the Givati brigade’s combat team identified and eliminated a terrorist armed with an RPG in a building near the forces. In addition, the brigade’s fighters performed several focused raids in the area and discovered explosives, weapons, missiles, and RPG launchers.
During an operation by the Egoz unit, the force located and destroyed a launcher placed in a military building in the area.
Air Force aircraft, in collaboration with the 215th Artillery brigade, eliminated a central figure in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, who served as the logistician in Rafah brigade, who was responsible for preparing the enemy for the IDF takeover in Rafah.
In Jabalia, under the command of the 98th division, the Paratrooper Brigade’s combat team killed several terrorists near the forces and found several Kalashnikov-style weapons.
The combat team of the 7th brigade destroyed a loaded rocket launcher and conducted several battles with terrorists who fired at them, the terrorists were killed.
The combat team of the 460th brigade found several tunnels, killed a terrorist armed with an RPG near the force, and located several explosives in the area.
The forces of the 99th Division continue to fight in the center of the Strip and killed several terrorists in the last day, among others in collaboration with the Air Force.
Fighters from the 414th unit identified several terrorists after they fired RPGs at our forces.
The force directed an aircraft that attacked the building in which the terrorists were and killed them.
The Air Force continues to operate in the skies of the Strip and attacked more than 70 targets in the last day.
Among the targets attacked, ammunition warehouses, military infrastructures, terrorists who posed a threat to our forces, and military buildings.
