IDF forces continue to operate within the “Brazil” neighborhood and “Shbora” in Rafah, alongside activities in the heart of Jabalia and the center of the Gaza Strip.
The forces of Brigade 162 continue to operate accurately following information about terrorist targets in the “Brazil” neighborhood and “Shbora” in Rafah, making every effort to avoid harming civilian population and after civilians vacated the area.
Combat soldiers from Brigade 401 located a prepared rocket launcher aimed at our forces. Combat teams from the Nahal Brigade and Givati are operating in the area, have found and destroyed several hideouts in the area, launchers, and eliminated a number of terrorists in face-to-face confrontations.
Air Force aircraft eliminated three terrorists in a mortar squad that fired mortars at our forces in the Rafah area.
The forces of Brigade 98 continue to operate in the heart of Jabalia. In cooperation with the Air Force, attacked and eliminated a number of Hamas terrorists in attacks on several military buildings used for weapons storage.
The combat teams of the 7th Brigade and Paratroopers found many weapons and equipment, including Kalashnikovs, explosives, grenades, sniping weapons, warehouses, and combat equipment.
The forces of Brigade 99 continue to operate in the Sederot area in the center of the Gaza Strip. Over the past day, the Air Force in conjunction with the Artillery Division of the Brigade have carried out a number of attacks, including the leader of a terror cell hiding in a house, elimination of two terrorists who fired at our forces, and the elimination of a terrorist who infiltrated our territory at 7:10.
Combat soldiers from Brigade 679 continue to operate in the center of the Gaza Strip and in the past day they located several terrorist cells, including a cell with military equipment, entering a building. An Airforce aircraft was called in and eliminated the terrorists.
