The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated the deputy commander of Hamas’ National Security in the Gaza Strip; efforts continue to focus on thwarting additional senior terrorists in the Strip.
Led by Division 99, the Military Intelligence Directorate and Shin Bet, Israeli Air Force fighter jets attacked the Strip’s center yesterday and eliminated the terrorist Chia’ al-Din al-Sharafa, the deputy commander of the National Security in the Gaza Strip.
In his role, he was responsible for managing the mechanism that secures the Strip’s borders. During the war, this mechanism prevented the population from moving from combat areas.
Additionally, during this week, the terrorist Yosef al-Shobaki was attacked and killed in Gaza City. He served as an operator in the Industrial Equipment Department of the production headquarters of the Hamas terrorist organization. As part of his role, he was responsible for the ongoing operation and promotion of Hamas’ production of weapons of war.
