The IDF has attacked a number of targets in Lebanon over the past 72 hours. In a joint operation by the Northern Command, the Air Force, and the Intelligence Directorate, military buildings used by terrorists from the Hezbollah terrorist organization were attacked, including significant assets of the organization and launchers from which fire was directed towards the territory of the State of Israel.
During the day, Air Force planes targeted a surface-to-air missile launcher that was used by Hezbollah’s air defense system, in response to attempts by the terrorist organization to harm aerial operational freedom.
In a rapid and focused loop of intelligence, fire, and air, approximately 10 terrorist cells belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon were attacked, and about four terrorists were eliminated.
