Musa Abu Sabila

Musa Abu Sabila, a 41-year-old from Abu Talul and father of six, was tragically killed on October 7, 2023, during the Hamas-led massacre near Kibbutz Re’im. Musa, who worked as a security guard in the area, was actively helping to evacuate people from a party when the attack occurred. Despite his efforts to ensure the safety of others, he was fatally shot by Hamas terrorists, a violent act that marked his courageous last moments.

Musa’s vehicle was found peppered with bullet holes, a stark testament to the intense and fatal confrontation. He lived in Abu Talul, in the Neve Midbar Regional Council area, and had a background in military service, highlighting his longstanding commitment to security and protection. His death is mourned by his community and family, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and sacrifice in the face of grave danger.
