Humanitarian Aid Update for Gaza
Aid Trucks Entry
175 trucks carrying humanitarian goods were transferred to Gaza yesterday, with 121 entering through the Kerem Shalom Crossing and 54 via the Erez Crossing.
Current Aid Collection Status
Currently, about 470 trucks worth of aid are waiting for collection as of August 20.
Fuel Supply
On August 20, 6 gas tankers and 6 additional tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza successfully entered the area.
Jordanian Route Assistance
A total of 54 aid trucks, along with 1 truck carrying medical and communication equipment, were coordinated to enter Gaza via the Jordanian route yesterday.
Support for Northern Gaza
Additionally, 54 aid trucks were coordinated to deliver supplies specifically to northern Gaza yesterday.
Bakeries and Food Production
Currently, 12 bakeries are operational—6 in northern Gaza and 6 in central Gaza—producing close to 3 million pita loaves per day.
Local Tactical Pause
Today, August 21, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will implement a local tactical pause in the Al Ghaban neighborhood of Beit Lahya to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid.
