Humanitarian Aid Update for Gaza (April 15-16)

Recent Aid Truck Transfers

On April 15, 237 aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip. A total of 204 trucks were then distributed within Gaza, with 103 of those containing food. Today, April 16, 106 trucks are scheduled to be transferred to Gaza via the Jordanian route.

Airdrop Efforts

Additionally, 72 pallets containing tens of thousands of packages of aid were airdropped into northern Gaza yesterday (April 15).

Coordinated Aid for Northern Gaza

For northern Gaza, 116 trucks of aid were coordinated, and a food aid convoy entered Gaza via the new northern crossing. Furthermore, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 3 tankers of fuel, designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, also entered on April 15.

Medical Aid Coordination

Nine trucks with medical aid were coordinated to the Emirati Field Hospital also on April 15.

Foreign National Exits

28 foreign nationals were scheduled to exit Gaza yesterday (April 15).

Operational Bakeries

Currently, more than 24 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing over 3 million breads, rolls, and pita breads daily.

Evacuations and Infrastructure Repair

So far, a total of 3,204 injured and sick individuals have been evacuated from the strip, accompanied by 725 escorts. The repair of vital infrastructure is currently underway.

Humanitarian Aid Operations Pause

Today, April 16, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Jorat Allot neighborhood to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid.
