Humanitarian Aid Updates for Gaza
Overview of Aid Operations on April 2
On April 2, a total of 266 humanitarian aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip. Out of these, 120 trucks were distributed within the Gaza Strip by UN aid agencies.
Airdrop and Food Aid Coordination
Additionally, 246 packages containing hundreds and thousands of meals were airdropped over northern Gaza yesterday. Furthermore, 30 trucks carrying food aid were coordinated to deliver assistance in northern Gaza.
Fuel and Gas Supply
Yesterday, 4 tankers of cooking gas, designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, successfully entered the Gaza Strip.
Foreign Nationals Exiting Gaza
In terms of foreign nationals, 42 individuals exited the Gaza Strip yesterday, with an additional 30 expected to exit today.
Medical Supplies and Food Delivery
Through the Jordanian delivery channel, 7 trucks carrying medical equipment were transferred to Gaza yesterday. Moreover, 24 WFP food trucks are anticipated to be transferred today.
Bakeries and Daily Bread Production
Currently, 21 bakeries are operational in Gaza, collectively providing over 2 million breads, rolls, and pita breads daily for the local population.
Ceasefire for Humanitarian Aid Movement
Looking ahead to today, April 3, the IDF will pause operations in the western neighborhood of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, between 10:00 and 14:00 to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid.
