Humanitarian Aid Update: Feb. 13-14
Inspection and Transfer of Humanitarian Aid Trucks
208 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip yesterday (Feb. 13). Of these:
- 44 trucks were inspected at Nitzana and transferred via the Rafah Crossing.
- 164 trucks were inspected and transferred via Kerem Shalom.
- 87 trucks carried food.
Fuel and Gas Deliveries
Yesterday (Feb. 13), 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza have entered the Gaza Strip.
Patient and Foreign National Exits
49 patients exited the Gaza Strip for treatment in Turkey yesterday (Feb. 13). Additionally, 47 foreign nationals were coordinated to exit the Gaza Strip yesterday, with 53 more coordinated for exit today.
Water Supply Project
The second waterline from the Egyptian side of Rafah to the Gazan side of Rafah was successfully connected. This project, completed by the United Arab Emirates, is expected to supply water to residents of the southern part of Gaza.
Bakery Operations in Gaza
Currently, 15 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing over 2 million breads, rolls, and pita breads a day for the local population. Over the last 2 weeks, the number of operational bakeries increased from 10, to 12, and now to 15, following COGAT’s facilitation.
Infrastructure Repair Coordination
The coordination of the repair of vital infrastructure was successfully completed.
Humanitarian Aid Movement Pause
Today (Feb. 14), between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Sheikh Al-Yamini neighborhood, in the town of Dier Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, in order to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
