Logistics Update on Gaza Aid – January 30
Yesterday (Jan. 30), a total of 197 trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip. Among them, 39 trucks were inspected at the Nitzana crossing and subsequently transferred to Gaza via the Rafah crossing, while 158 trucks were inspected and transferred via Kerem Shalom. Notably, out of these, 141 trucks carried food supplies.
Fuel and Gas Supply
Furthermore, on the same day (Jan. 30), 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel, designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, successfully entered the Gaza Strip. The food trucks were transferred to Gaza after undergoing inspection through the Jordan delivery channel.
Humanitarian Movements
Tens of thousands of Gazans have moved west of Khan Yunis in the corridor that the IDF has opened for humanitarian purposes. In addition, 147 foreign nationals were coordinated for exit yesterday (Jan. 30).
Medical Assistance
To enhance the medical response in Gaza, 2 medical teams entered the area. Currently, 12 bakeries are operational, producing a remarkable 2 million pita breads daily, with plans for additional bakeries underway.
Upcoming Humanitarian Pause
Today’s update (Jan. 31): between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Idari neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza, to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid.
International Medical Supply Efforts
Moreover, 5 packages of medical supplies were airdropped by Jordan and France to further support medical efforts in the region.
