Humanitarian Aid Update: Operations at Nitzana and Rafah Crossings

88 trucks were inspected at the Nitzana crossings and transferred to Gaza via the Rafah crossing. Among them, 25 trucks carried food supplies.

Fuel and Gas Deliveries

Yesterday, (Jan. 28) 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza have entered the Gaza Strip.

Movement of Gazans and Truck Transfers

Tens of thousands of Gazans moved west of Khan Yunis in the corridor for humanitarian purposes that the IDF has opened. Additionally, 16 trucks that made their way from Jordan were transferred to the Gaza Strip.

Ambulances and Infrastructure Support

7 ambulances, donated by Turkey, were transferred to the Gaza Strip after inspection. Furthermore, 4 warehouses have been established to enhance the logistic capacity of the international organizations receiving humanitarian aid within the Gaza Strip.

Bakeries and Food Production

12 bakeries are currently operational, providing 2 million pita breads a day, with additional bakeries in the planning process.

Humanitarian Aid Operations Paused

Today, (Jan. 29) between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza, in order to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
