Humanitarian Aid Update in Gaza (January 23-24, 2023)

Trucks Carrying Aid Transferred

235 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were transferred to the Gaza Strip yesterday (Jan. 23). Out of these, 91 trucks were inspected at Nitzana and transferred to Gaza via the Rafah Crossing, while 144 trucks were inspected and transferred via Kerem Shalom. Notably, 162 trucks carried food supplies.

Cooking Gas and Infrastructure Support

Additionally, on January 23, 4 tankers of cooking gas designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the Gaza Strip. In an effort to enhance the logistic capacity of international organizations receiving humanitarian aid within Gaza, 4 warehouses were established.

Coordination for Foreign Nationals and Infrastructure Repair

Seventy-one foreign nationals were coordinated for exit yesterday (Jan. 23). Furthermore, the coordination for the repair of vital infrastructure was successfully completed.

IDF Operations Pause for Humanitarian Movement

Today, January 24, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Yafa and Al-Baruk neighborhoods in Dier al Balach, central Gaza, in order to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
