Humanitarian Aid Efforts in Gaza

A total of 201 trucks carrying humanitarian aid, including food, water, medical supplies, and shelter equipment were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip yesterday (Jan. 11).

Aid Transfer Details

Specifically, 84 trucks were inspected at Nitzana crossing and transferred to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Crossing. Additionally, 117 trucks were inspected and transferred to Gaza via Kerem Shalom.

Fuel and Gas Supply

Furthermore, on January 10, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, have entered the Gaza Strip.

Coordination of Aid Convoys

Aid convoys carrying food and medical supplies were successfully coordinated to shelters in northern Gaza.

Vaccination and Medical Support

Over 250,000 vials of vaccinations, with over 1 million doses, have entered the Gaza Strip. Additional field hospitals are in the process, expected to be operational in the coming days. Additionally, more equipment and personnel for the field hospitals operating in the Gaza Strip have entered the region.

Bakery Operations

Notably, 12 bakeries producing over 2 million pita breads a day are operational in central and southern Gaza.

Humanitarian Aid Movement Pause

Today, (Jan. 12) between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in Al-Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza, in order to enable movement of humanitarian aid.
