Humanitarian Aid to Gaza: Updates as of January 31

247 humanitarian aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip, yesterday (Jan. 31). Of these, 70 trucks were inspected at the Nitzana crossing and transferred to Gaza via the Rafah crossing, while 177 trucks were inspected and transferred through Kerem Shalom. Notably, 148 trucks carried food.

Additional Supplies Arrive

Yesterday (Jan. 31), 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the Gaza Strip. Food trucks were transferred to Gaza after inspection via the Jordan delivery channel, with more expected to arrive today.

Movement and Support for Gazans

Thousands of Gazans moved west of Khan Yunis in the corridor for humanitarian purposes that the IDF has opened. Additionally, 75 foreign nationals were coordinated for exit yesterday (Jan. 31).

Medical and Bakery Operations

Medical teams entered the Gaza Strip to bolster the medical response in the area. Currently, 12 bakeries, providing 2 million pita breads a day, are operational, with additional bakeries in the planning process. Coordination for the repair of vital infrastructure was successfully completed.

Upcoming Aid Efforts

Today (Feb. 1), between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Idari neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza, to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
