Recent Aid Deliveries to Gaza
Yesterday, 248 aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza strip (June 2). Additionally, 7 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the region yesterday.
UN Involvement and Coordination
12 trucks of aid were picked up on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom by UN bodies. Currently, nearly 650 aid trucks are waiting on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom for pickup (June 2).
Out of 42 overall coordination requests, 28 were approved (June 2). In northern Gaza, out of 15 coordination requests, 11 were approved. Moreover, out of 8 UN coordination requests, 5 were approved. Since January 1, 2024, 88% of all coordination requests have been approved.
Aid to Northern Gaza
Aid to northern Gaza includes 10 trucks coordinated to the area, along with 2 fuel trucks (June 2). So far, 3,273 injured and sick individuals along with 754 escorts have been evacuated from the strip (June 2).
IDF Operations and Humanitarian Aid
Today, (June 2) between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Kizan Abu Rashuan neighborhood in Khan Yunis to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
