Humanitarian Aid Update – February 5 & 6

On February 5, a total of 233 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip. The breakdown of these trucks is as follows:

  • 74 trucks were inspected at the Nitzana crossing and subsequently transferred to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing.
  • 159 trucks were inspected and transferred via Kerem Shalom.
  • 202 trucks carried food supplies.

Additionally, 4 packages of medical supplies were airdropped by Jordan and the Netherlands, designated for medical facilities in the Gaza Strip.

On the same day, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel intended for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza were successfully delivered.

Foreign Nationals Coordination

Yesterday, 62 foreign nationals were coordinated to exit the Gaza Strip, with an additional 548 foreign nationals coordinated for exit today (February 6).

Water Supply Initiatives

The second waterline from the Egyptian side of Rafah to the Gazan side was successfully connected. This project, carried out by the United Arab Emirates, is expected to supply water to residents in the southern part of Gaza.

Baking and Food Production

Currently, 12 bakeries are operational, providing 2 million pita breads a day, with more being planned to meet the demand.

Infrastructure Repairs

The coordination for the repair of vital infrastructure has been successfully completed.

Humanitarian Aid Movement Pause

Today, February 6, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Tel-Al-Saltan neighborhood, located in the town of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, to allow for the movement of humanitarian aid.

Medical Efforts

On February 5, a total of 28 packages of medical supplies were airdropped by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in coordination with Israel. Furthermore:

  • 5 packages of medical supplies were airdropped by Jordan and France.
  • 12 packages were airdropped by Jordan and The Netherlands.
