Humanitarian Aid Trucks Enter Gaza
Yesterday (June 5), 140 humanitarian aid trucks were transferred to Gaza. This included:
- 101 trucks via the Kerem Shalom crossing
- 39 trucks via the Erez crossing
Status of Aid Storage
The Gazan side of Kerem Shalom is still at full capacity, with the contents of 1,100 aid trucks waiting to be picked up by UN aid agencies as of June 5.
Fuel Supply for Essential Infrastructure
Additionally, 4 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the region yesterday (June 5).
Food Aid Coordination
Jordanian Route Aid Delivery
Through the Jordanian route, 16 WFP food trucks were coordinated via the Erez Crossing on June 5.
Assistance to Northern Gaza
In terms of aid distribution to northern Gaza, 39 trucks were coordinated to enter the area on June 5.
Coordination Requests Overview
Out of 61 overall coordination requests submitted, 37 were approved as of June 5. Specific statistics include:
- Out of 15 coordination requests to northern Gaza, 7 were approved.
- Out of 15 UN coordination requests, 10 were approved.
Since January 1, 2024, 88% of all coordination requests have been approved.
Pause in Operations for Humanitarian Aid Movement
Today (June 6), between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Yaffa Al Baruch in Khan Yunis to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
