Closure of Crossings for Humanitarian Aid

In line with the agreement reached with the US, Egypt, and the UN, Kerem Shalom and Nitzana crossings will be closed on Saturdays. This is to facilitate the UN’s distribution of goods on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom and the reception on the Egyptian side of Rafah.

Aid Distribution in Gaza

A total of 236 aid trucks were distributed within Gaza, with 189 of these containing food. Additionally, 104 aid packages containing hundreds of thousands of meals were airdropped over Gaza, in conjunction with Egypt and the UAE on April 13.

Evacuations and Fuel Supply

So far, 3,204 injured and sick individuals along with 725 escorts have been evacuated from the strip. On April 13, 4 tankers of fuel and 4 tankers of cooking gas designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, entered the Gaza Strip.

Operations in Gaza

On April 13, 2 foreign nationals were scheduled to exit the Gaza Strip. Currently, 23 bakeries are operational in Gaza, including one in northern Gaza, providing over 2 million breads, rolls, and pita breads a day for the local population.

Infrastructure Repairs

The repair of vital infrastructure is underway. Today, April 14, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
