Humanitarian Aid Update: June 18

On June 18, 305 humanitarian aid trucks were inspected and transferred to Gaza. This included:

  • 289 trucks via Kerem Shalom
  • 16 trucks via the Erez crossing

Additionally, 100 aid trucks were collected today from the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom by UN aid agencies and the private sector.

As of June 18, the contents of over 1,000 aid trucks are still waiting on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom to be picked up by UN aid agencies.

Fuel and Infrastructure Aid

Six tankers of gas and one tanker of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the region yesterday (June 18).

Support for Northern Gaza

A total of 16 trucks were coordinated for delivery to northern Gaza. In terms of personnel movements:

  • 21 UN/NGO workers were scheduled to exit Gaza on June 18
  • 26 were scheduled to enter

IDF Operation Pause for Humanitarian Aid

To facilitate humanitarian operations, the IDF will pause operations today (June 19) between 10:00 and 14:00 in the Ja’ort Allot neighborhood in Khan Younis to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
