Humanitarian Aid Efforts in Gaza

Current Aid Deliveries

131 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were inspected and transferred to Gaza via Kerem Shalom.
Yesterday, (Feb. 19) 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, have entered the Gaza Strip.
A WFP food aid convoy was coordinated to northern Gaza.

Foreign Nationals Exiting Gaza

129 foreign nationals exited the Gaza Strip yesterday (Feb. 19), and 54 foreign nationals are expected to exit today.
Additional medical personnel for the United Arab Emirates field hospital have entered the Gaza Strip.

Upcoming Medical Facilities

A United Arab Emirates floating hospital is expected to dock at the El-Arish port in the coming days.
The floating hospital will be treating patients from Gaza.

Water Supply Project

The second waterline from the Egyptian side of Rafah to the Gazan side of Rafah was successfully connected.
This is a project done by the United Arab Emirates and is expected to supply water to residents of the southern part of Gaza.

Bakery Operations

13 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing over 2 million breads, rolls, and pita breads a day for the local population.
Over the last 2 weeks, the number of operational bakeries went up from 10, to 12 and now to 15, following COGAT’s facilitation.

Infrastructure Repair Coordination

The coordination of the repair of vital infrastructure was successfully completed.
Today, (Feb. 20) between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Idari neighborhood, in the town of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, in order to enable movement of humanitarian aid.
